I'm sure many of you, like me, find it helpful to have something interesting to listen to while you paint. Music is great, and can be the perfect inspiration....but sometimes I get tired of listening to the same old cd's over and over. So I poked around a bit for some interesting podcasts and hit the jackpot I hope you all like these too!

Escape-Pod is a weekly podcast with some fantastic sci-fi short stories, and they have over 100 past podcasts to work your way through. There are some really interesting stories here to help you while away the hours while you work. They also have a newer sister podcast called Psuedopod that specialises in horror stories. I believe there is a fantasy podcast in the works, as well, but it's not up yet...I'll pass on the link when it's up and running.

If anyone has links to share for similar podcasts I'd be thrilled to have them I've almost exhausted the archives at both these links, so I need some new stuff to listen to!
