It's 1.30 am, my hand looks like a claw, and I'm so going to hate myself in the morning...but it's finally finished :-) Well, ok I might go back and touch up those grevillia flowers in the fore, but maybe not...YAWN!

Edit Nov. 10 : I noticed the DD a couple of hours ago, and I've been waiting to thank both yuppy64 and Aeires till I'm semi calm enough to speak in English again :D

Also, this was done as a WIP series, two of the updates are here in my gallery, the others and the reference photo for the waterfall are in my scraps for those who like WIP stuff (I do!)

Daily DeviationI found myself staring at Gibraltar Falls Finished by ~MBoulad for a long time and loving every moment of it. The waterfall is brilliant the way it is captured in time, even creating a rainbow. All the birds are incredible, especially the brown one that is loaded with details. Beautiful piece of art. (Suggested by ~yuppy64 and Featured by `Aeires)

Wow.. that is simply stunning!! I love the brightly coloured rosellas and the rainbow in the mist, they add to the painting so much.

This is worth every second you spent on it! I am so envious of your attention to detail and patience!! I wish I could do something like this, this makes me feel like I've been incredibly lazy with the oil paintings I've done for people :/ .

Just wow. I'm blown away. I always look forward to your submissions :)

I LOVE the water... you seem to have done each little drop individually. I adore the birds - their colours are a good match with the rainbow. :) But what I REALLY love about this (and most of your pics) is your style! You just seem to have this 'feathery' effect and it works perfectly, even on the rocks. I could sit and stare at this for ages, I just love it so much!! :worship: Congratulations - your hard work really paid off. :favlove:

It was so cool to see the progress...and a wonderful result! Absolutley gorgeous...the waters seems to actually flow, the birds really fly, so much motion and color.

It really radiates a feeling of warmth, and I lovely the little rainbow, that's a lovely touch! Just so very vibrant, brilliant work. :D Well worth all the time spent on it!!!

Like all the other comments so far, I'm blown away, most of the time when people post progress pictures, it subtracts from the final image, but it's made me fall in love with it over time, to the point where it's seamless, I can scrutinize this for hours, and find nothing that bothers me, the attention to detail through the whole piece just makes me warm inside, the birdies look great, much better than they did in the last version :p, the water and the little shrubs, oh gawd...
Hopefully the DD will speak for me, because I'd say it's in with a damn good chance, and you'd deserve it for all the work you put in, good lord, you're amazing.
