Artist's Comments

Edit Nov. 1, 2008

I am so surprised and pleased to get a DD on this! Thank you all for the lovely comments and favs, it really does mean a lot to me :)

I'm sorry for not being around more lately, this has been such a busy year for me! I miss you all, I hope to be around when things calm down around here  Now go eat candy till you're sick m'dears, Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween, everyone :D

A group of children wandering the neighborhood on Halloween night, shrieking in delight as they check to see what goodies have been handed into their pumpkin buckets at the last house.

A typical Halloween scene, right?

Right. At least until you look under their masks.

Clockwise from left, we have a faun, son of Pan...a mystery boy...a young vampyre...and the young daughter of Frankenstein and his lovely bride. Oh, that's her cat down bottom left. And my favourite, the little green guy with the fat as a dumpling baby feet, a tiny hobgobblin. His mum won't like him gobbling his candy before he gets home, I bet.

They've decided to give this human holiday a try, and have disguised themselves with masks of human children and what they hope will pass as typical dress. I wonder if anyone has noticed yet that these children aren't your typical trick-or-treaters :)

Who ever can name the identity of the mystery boy, the overgrown hairy fella with the sweet face gets a nice fat feature in my next journal :) I could tell, but it would be more fun if you guess.

I'm sorry I've gotten so behind here on DA, but I'm behind everywhere at the moment. I have so much correspondence to catch up on, if I owe you a note, please accept my apologies and know I'll be catching up soon!

Happy Halloween folks!

LOVE! No...am IN LOVE with this picture! Halloween is my absolute FAVORITE holiday! I probably have horrible guesses about the mystery boy...but i'm thinking son of bigfoot....or son of one of those "where the wild things are" monsters!

HA! That's so funny I forgot to laugh...excluding that first Ha.

I got my hair highlighted, because I felt some strands were more important than others.
